District Governor Tony Jannetta Induction of District Governor Tony Jannetta Jun 26, 2012 The Surrey Room was packed with about 150 people for the passing of the District Governor torch from Bill Jahn to our own Tony Jannetta. Tony, resplendent in kilt with a nice Rotary wheel belt buckle, beamed the entire night. Tony’s induction speech, complete with brogue, was terrific. Those of you not here missed a terrific, entertaining, informative, and inspirational evening.

DSG Project with Blue Bell Rotary Club Jan 4, 2011 Three Organizations, Blue Bell Rotary Club, North Penn Rotary Club and Beth Or Synagogue presented St. Mary's Villa for Boys and Girls 87 comforters, and Pillows. Also given were board games, and scrap booking supplies for the students. The three organizations will be volunteering members to mentor the boys and girls who desire this relationship.

Three North Penn Rotarians are currently serving on the “Y” board of directors including the current president, Peter Prescott. The North Penn YMCA currently has 18,000 members, 30 fulltime and 630 part-time employees, 400 volunteers, and a budget of $9,000,000. Bob Gallagher Feb 2, 2010 Bob gave us a very polished informative presentation as usual! and presented us with a check for $2,500 from our joing fundraising golf event.

The New Mission Kids Centre will be built from this Norristown Farm house, refurbishment, extension and making a large play area and extra parking will cost over $1 million and they need an anual budget of $300,000 to hopefully be able to handle over 600 cases a year. Hope, Light and Love, shelter for those who have been hit by disaster, world relief in over 30 countries including 1,200 shelter boxs distributed in the USA for Katrina in 2005 before even Femma got there.
